Procedure for Obtaining Motor Vehicle Records from PennDOT* (Free for Government Agencies)
- Go to www.dmv.pa.gov
- Along the top navigational bar click on “Information Centers”
- On Information Center page, click on “Business Partner”
- Along right hand side, under list of Resources: Click on “Online Driver History Request Service for Business”
- This will bring you to Online Business Services Login Page. Along right hand side, under list of Resources: Click on “Government Agency Internet Application/License Agreement” (Form DL-9002)
- Apply for an Account Number using Form DL-9002. (You may want to "BOOKMARK" this site)
- Complete the electronic form, Print, Notarize and Mail via USPS
- You expect to receive your Account Number in approximately 2-3 weeks. Once your Account has been approved, you will receive two separate emails from PENNSYLVANIA INTERACTIVE, LLC. One will provide your User Name/Number and the other will provide a Temporary Password. Additional instructions on how to access your account will be provided.
- Note that only 10 records can be checked per session. You will need to login again after 10 records have been checked.
